This Luminox watch is
designed for armed forces, police, fire fighters and demanding outdoor
sportsmen. Nobody builds a tougher watch than Luminox!
This watch is designed
to be part of their Field collections and omits the rotating bezel and
diver's look in favor of a fixed bezel design suitable for sport or
office wear. The watch is extremely large, over 46 millimeters in
diameter. The most unique design cue if the hinged crown protector,
shown in the photograph on the right.
Naturally, the watch
includes the Luminox micro tritium gas lights to illuminate the dial
markings and the hands. This gas technology will allow the tiny lights
to glow for up to 25 years without any "recharging" or use of any
outside light source.
The illumination will
Not Fade during the night, as other watches usually do. And you do not
need to "push a button" to read the time perfectly. In fact, this watch
will grow brightly even if kept in total darkness 24 hours a day.
Luminox actually guarantees the illumination for 10 full years!
