For at least 3 years these beautiful Clutch Purses, made from recycled rice & feed bags, have been a hit at Green Living. Similar to the cradle-to-cradle recycling theory, these truly are bags-to-bags, being commercial rice and feed bags in their first life and then washed, cut, and sewn into durable clutch purses in their second life.
The Clutch Purse is made from an ultra-durable tight-woven synthetic fiber and is cotton lined with an inside and outside pocket. The flap closes with a snap and the purse is slung with a removable strap. The professional stitching is durable and made to last. The designs will vary based on the selected original bag and each is unique. The bag is available in blue, green, orange, and pink.

The Clutch Purses are manufactured on a small scale and are fairly traded; therefore, providing a living wage to workers in Cambodia.
