Description
The Exposition Ottoman is a classic modern reproduction of Ludwig Mies Van Der Rhoe's Barcelona Ottoman which was originally created to furnish his German Pavilion at the 1929 International Exhibition in Barcelona. The Exposition Stool has come to epitomize modern design. Designed to serve as seating for the king and queen of Spain, the stool was used to accommodate their attendants. To create the deep, precise tufting, individual panels of leather are cut, hand welted and hand tufted.
