Christmas Bush 8 in. x 24 in. This evergreen, creeping shrub is an easy subject in rich, gritty soil, kept slightly moist. Its green branches are covered with small but sturdy green leaves, and blooms with tiny, ivory-white flower heads in midsummer, Christmas-time in its native Tierra del Fuego and Falkland Islands. A staple shrub for rock gardens in the UK and Pacific Northwest, it thrives in a cool, maritime-influenced climate, and will appreciate some shade in hot inland areas. Hardy to Zone 6.
