Sedge 12 in. x 18 in. Found worldwide, these grass-like plants have elegant foliage, sometimes in very unusual colors. Hardiness and ultimate size vary greatly among species. Larger species are suited to the perennial border, while others prefer a niche in the rockery or streamside planting. Moist, rich soil is a common preference among sedges, and while partial shade will prevent sun-burn in broad-leaved species, full sun will often enrich foliage color. Size shipped: Half-Quart Pot. New Zealand native with striking copper-orange foliage, especially in winter, when the ‘evergreen’ leaves lose any trace of green. Incomparable in containers. Hardy to Zone 7.
