Fibrovan contains LONG LIFE (compared to others - last 8-12 hours in the body vs. 2-3 hours in the body) Nattokinase with maltodextrin. Nattokinase dissolves blood clots and adhesions in the abdomen. Nattokinase dissolves fibrin. Fibrin is the "fiber" in a blood clot. Most but not all uterine fibroids (myomas) contain mostly fibrin. Discovered at the University of Chicago Medical Center by Dr. Sumi, Nattokinase safely dissolves the blood clots. Nattokinase dissolves adhesions. Vitamin K2 is taken out of the Nattokinase in Fibrovan. Vitamin K is used by the body to clot blood. Thus, Nattokinase in Fibrovan is NOT contraindicated with Coumadin theoretically.
CAUTION: Some Adenomyosis patients that have had excessive vaginal bleeding experiened more excessive bleeding with FIBROVAN. IF you have Adenomyosis, DO NOT TAKE FIBROVAN!!!
Nattokinase
The miracle enzyme discovered at the University of Chicago Medical School that safely and quickly disolves unhealthy clots and fibrin deposits in fibroids and endometriosis.
Nattokinase is a potent fibrinolytic (clot-dissolving enzyme) extracted from a traditional Japanese cheese called Natto. Natto has been used as a food and a medical remedy for heart and vascular disease in Japanese culture for over 1000 years. Exciting research since 1980 has shown that Nattokinase helps our bodies dissolve and prevent unhealthy blood coagulation. It is now proven to have 4 times the clot dissolving power of plasmin! Plasmin is what our body produces to dissolve harmful blood clots or excess fibrin that can lead to many serious and fatal diseases including stroke and heart attack.
The Nattokinase that is used in this product does NOT contain phytoestrogens from soy.
How is Nattokinase made? Natto cheese is made by adding beneficial bacteria Bacillus subtilis to boiled soybeans. When these bacteria act on the soybeans the enzyme Nattokinase is produced. Although other soy foods contain enzymes only the Natto preparation contains this special enzyme Nattokinase.
How was Nattokinase discovered? In 1980 Japanese researcher Dr. Hiroyuki Sumi was searching for a natural thrombolytic (clot dissolving ) agent. After testing over 173 natural foods at the University of Chicago Medical School Dr. Sumi found what he was looking for. When he placed natto on artificial blood clots in his laboratory at body temperature the blood clots were dissolved within 18 hours! Dr. Sumi named his new discovery "nattokinase" which means "enzyme in natto." Excitedly he stated that nattokinase demonstrated "a potency matched by no other enzyme."
How does Nattokinase work? Nattokinase enhances our body's ability to fight blood clots. Other blood thinners are exensive, short acting and have serious side-effects. Nattokinase has a prolonged effect without many side-effects associated with Coumadin and Warfarin. It is an enzyme that digests fibrin directly and indirectly. Indirectly, it activates pro-urokinase and tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA), supporting the fibrolytic activity of plasmin. These combined actions promote healthy platelet function, circulation and blood flow. About 10% of its affect is based on direct fibrinolytic activity whereas 90% is based on its ability to upregulate the plasminogen system.
Nattokinase:
supports normal blood pressure prevents unhealthy blood clots from forming dissolves existing blood clots dissolves excess fibrin increases the body's production of plasmin as well as other clot-dissolving agents.
What research has been done on Nattokinase? Nattokinase has been the subject of 17 studies with new ones ongoing. Starting in 1990 Dr. Sumi's research team published a series of studies demonstrating the fibrinolytic effect of Nattokinase. Here are some highlights:
Researchers from JCR Pharmaceuticals, Oklahoma State University, and Miyazaki Medical College tested Nattokinase on healthy human subjects who were given Natto after creating artificial blood clots. Amazingly the time it took to dissolve the clots was cut in half. Also this clot-dissolving ability lasted up to 8 hours! In 4 out of 5 volunteers with high blood pressure who were given Nattokinase for 4 days the average blood pressure dropped at least 10%.
EGCG
The most potent anti-oxidant known today. It is found in Green Tea leaves and grape seeds. New research shows it has many benefits in cancer prevention, weight loss, immune system enhancement, cholesterol lowering, cardiovascular health, and protecting our bodies from free radical damage. EGCG (Epigallocatechin gallate) is the most potent antioxidant found in green tea leaves and grape seeds. In developing the NATTO ULTRA formula careful consideration was given to include the most useful as well as safe antioxidant science currently offers.
New research shows EGCG may:
Lower LDL Cholesterolin low fat diet subjects Stimulate our immune system Improve cancer prognosis May enhance blood flow Enhance weight loss Improve dental ...
