Looking for that something to throw your tone over the edge? The Jade Sting is a clone of Dan Armstrong's famous Green Ringer. One of the best sounding octave effects ever made in my humble opinion. Single note lines will have an octave double effect with the second tone being one octave higher, hit two notes into her and she'll send out the sum and different tones harmonically related to the original notes similar to a ring modulator. I recently had the opportunity to A/B the Jade Sting with an Original Armstrong Green Ringer from the 70's (Thanks Sonny!!!) and let me tell you're going to need a damn good ear to tell the difference.
I carefully hand assemble each pedal using only Quality components and True Bypass switching. This one is nicely tucked into the small MXR size enclosure with a Green LED.
Powered by 9 volt battery or any Boss style adapter.
