The Blue Bird's simply a nice vintage style Tremolo like you'd find in a good ole' tube amp. Just a simple Rate, Depth and Level controls. The amplitude modulation is done with transistors, so unlike most opto-coupler based trems, you don't get an "on/off" sound on slower speed settings. A Violet LED blinks in time with the LFO rate.
Version 2 has been slowed down to appx. 1-1 1/2 pulses a second. A level control has been added instead off the internal trimpot and and a switch to turn the tremolo off and just use the pedal as a boost. One of the best tones from a boost out there as a matter of fact. (Its the pregain section of the circuit that makes the trem sound so sweet.)
As with all my other pedals the Blue Bird is hand assembled using only quality components and True By-Pass . Powered by 9 volt battery or any Boss style adapter.
