GSL1600-60X tubing furnace is a precision bench-top furnace with 60 mm dia. alumina tube ( 54 mm I.D) using MoSi2 as heating elements. It is widely used for materials or chemical lab to sinter all types of new materials samples under vacuum or other gases condition. The temperature of GSL1600-60X tubing furnace is controlled by high precision SCR power controller with accuracy +/-1 oC and 51 segments programmable up to 1600oC (2912 oF) and installed with stainless steel vacuum sealed flange ready for sintering sample in all types of atmosphereSpecifications:

How to use and maintain Alumina tube in MTI high temperature tube furnace In order obtain accurate temperature inside tube furnace, you shall calibrate temperature before use, please click here to learn how MoSi2 heating element is used in the high temperature under oxidizing atmosphere. It will form the SiO2 film which can keep the element from being melted. During the oxidizing process, the SiO2 protecting film is formed again when the element continues to be used. The MoSi2 heating element must not be used in the temperature between 400 oC and 700 oC for a long time, otherwise the element will be cremated under the strong oxidizing function in the low temperature.
