SWGL-1600Y is 60 mm OD three zones tube furnace with complete vacuum sealing flange. Each heating zone is 12" in length and controlled by three precision 50 segments digital temperature controllers independently. . One zone ( center zone) is heated by MoSi2 elements up to 1600 oC, and another two zones are heated by SiC elements up to 1400oC , So the tube furnace can create various thermal gradient by adjust three zones temperature. How to use and maintain Alumina tube in MTI high temperature tube furnace In order obtain accurate temperature inside tube furnace, you shall calibrate temperature before use, please click here to learn how MoSi2 heating element is used in the high temperature under oxidizing atmosphere. It will form the SiO2 film which can keep the element from being melted. During the oxidizing process, the SiO2 protecting film is formed again when the element continues to be used. The MoSi2 heating element must not be used in the temperature between 400 oC and 700 oC for a long time, otherwise the element will be cremated under the strong oxidizing function in the low temperature.
