The microscope is a up-right reflected and transmitted metallurgical microscopy system with a USB digital image camera, and comes with a quintuple nosepiece, five infinitive Plan objectives, a built-in polarizer & analyzer and both reflected (EPI) & transmitted illuminations. It offers four metallurgical magnification settings (40X, 100X, 200X, 400X ) and two more levels of transmitted magnification settings (400X & 1000X). It is a great instrument for both metallurgical (reflected) and biological (transmitted) applications. The included high-resolution color USB digital camera captures microscope images and displays live video on your PC screen. It offers 3.0 M pixel resolution and is compatible with Windows 98/2000/XP. Its built-in reduction lens gives the same field of view images on your PC screen as that seen through eyepieces. Using the user-friendly software, you can edit microscope images on your computer or email them to your friends or colleagues. You can make real time video or save microscope images as BMP, TIFF, JPG, PICT, PTL or other files. You can also measure length, angle, area and etc. across the images. This microscopy system is perfect for metallurgical labs and foundries for silicon wafer inspection, integrated circuit examination, quality control and R&D applications.
