Olde Westport Spice started business in 1981 with one product, chili. Olde Bill, or Bill Petersen, has been cooking chili for 40 plus years. One day many years ago, Olde Bill said to his wife, "I think I could sell this chili." To his surprise, she said, "Yes". It took him nearly a year to get it all together and the response was surprising. Olde Bill loves to cook, so he gradually added more of his favorites, including chili verde, chicken tortilla soup and chipotle chili pepper seasoning. More than 25 years later, Olde Bill made his many spice blends and soups available to those who don't have the time or energy to prepare their own healthy dinners.
