Directions: Whisk soup into 4 1/2 cups of water. Bring to a boil. Lower heat to a high simmer. Cook for about 7 minutes. If soup is too thin cook a little longer, if too thick, add a little water. If you prefer: Substitute wine for 1/3 - 1/2 cup water. May we suggest a nice Sauvignon Blanc or even a Cabernet Sauvignon (the wine rules have changed!). Red wine will impart a very robust flavor and deep color with a rosy glow. Continue as above. Ladle soup into bowls and garnish as desired. Serve with a crusty loaf of French bread to savor every last delicious bit!
