The Wafian HR-1 Direct-to-Disk Recorder ingests uncompressed 720p or 1080i HD material over its HD-SDI input, and in real time converts the stream to 10-bit CineForm Intermediate AVI files which are recorded to disk. Order Options - The HR-1 may be ordered in two different drive configurations:
RAID 0 - Four drives appear as a large single drive for highest capacity (no redundancy). Approx 36 hours of storage.
RAID 10 - Four drives use two drives as a "stripe" for higher capacity, and two drives as a "mirror" for highest data integrity. Approx 18 hours of storage.
As part of this order we recommend you consider purchasing Prospect HD-Edit which allows you achieve real-time multi-stream performance with Adobe Premiere Pro in your post-production environment.
Ordering InstructionsPayment by credit card, wire transfer, or check (domestic orders only) is required at the time the order is placed.
