Vulcanizers create heat and pressure to mold matrix and rubber materials. Two parallel steel reinforced aluminum platens are heated to about 300 degrees F and come together with several tons of hydraulic pressure to melt matrix or rubber. The melted matrix or rubber takes the desired shape and hardens or 'vulcanizes' retaining that shape forever.
The electrically welded steel framework of our Precision Presses will withstand years of hard use. Only the best available manual and motorized hydraulic systems are installed in Jackson Marking Products' Precision Presses, and over 40 years of experience in the rubber-stamp business have gone into their development. The platens are heated with a unique system of heating elements designed to evenly distribute heat across the entire platen surface. This even distribution eliminates "hot spots" that can cause overcuring and undercuring on portions of your mold. Our Precision Presses are available for operation on standard North American electrical power or for export anywhere in the world!
Motorized Model 1524The Model 1524 Precision Press is an affordable vulcanizer for growing stamp shops that need extra capacity and increased employee efficiency! Because of the large platen size, individual platen temperature control units are used to assure even distribution of heat across each platen surface. The motorized hydraulic systems raises the lower platen without the need for hand-pumping and compressed air. The lower platen can be set to drop automatically at the end of the curing cycle. Maximum sustained temperature is 400F/200C. Shipped complete with work light and steel supporting stand. 15" x 24" platen size, 13" x 22" maximum molding area.
Motorized Model 1515Plenty of pressure for molding up to 13 x 13" standard or deep etch rubber dies. Work light is included, steel supporting stand is optional. 15" x 15" platen size, 13" x 13" maximum molding area.
Motorized Model 1015Model 1015 machines are available with your choice of 14-ton or 22-ton ram force. For standard etch matrix and rubber molding select the 14-ton pump. For deep etch matrix or rubber, or images with bold designs requiring substantial rubber flow select the 22-ton pump. Work light is included, steel supporting stand is optional. 10" x 15" platen size, 9" x 13" maximum molding area.
Manual Model 1515
A rugged and heavy-duty production machine built for serious stampmakers! Some of the features that distinguish this machine from others include four-post steel construction and a heavy-gauge steel base. The heat is controlled through the use of a digital microprocessor temperature-controller with thermocouple sensors in each platen. The high-power heating elements can cause fast heat-up and quick recovery of lost heat when an item is inserted for processing. The most accurate electronic digital countdown-timers available are built into the machines for exceptionally accurate cycle timing. This Precision Press has a maximum sustained temperature tolerance of 350F./177C., which allows for molding of silicone and other industrial materials. 20-ton hydraulic pump. The hydraulic-pressure gauge tells the operator exactly how much pressure has been applied to the platens. 15" x 15" platen size, 13" x 13" maximum molding area.
Manual Model 1015
Similar in design and function to the Model 1515 above. Select 12-ton hydraulics for standard etch matrix and rubber, 20-ton hydraulics for deep etch and designs with bold images. 10" x 15" platen size, 9" x 13" maximum molding area.
Manual Model 912Designed for the medium to small-volume stamp maker. The Model 912 Precision Press has many of the quality features described above. Select 8-ton hydraulics for stampdard etch matrix and rubber (no pressure gauge), and 12-ton hydraulics for deep etch and designs with bold images. 9" x 12" platen size, 8" x 10" maximum molding area.
Model 710 and Model 580
These small vulcanizers are especially popular with part-time stampmakers who produce a limited quantity of stamps. The heat-control system uses an analog electronic temperature-controller and an analog temperature-meter. Both models feature an electronic digital timer that doubles as a clock when not in use. 3-ton hydraulic systems (no pressure gauge). Model 710 has a 7" x 10" platen size, 6" x 8" maximum molding area. Model 580 has a 5" x 8" platen size, 4" x 6" maximum molding area.
Shipping Charges
Our system will calculate and add UPS shipping charges on orders for Model 710 and 580 Precision Presses. Larger machines must be shipped by motor freight and we will advise the cost of freight accordingly.
