So much fun pretending to celebrate a birthday!A great way to model the /k/ sound- talk about the candy, cake, candles, cut, etc. If your child can't say the whole word, just have them produce the /k/ sound on it's ownA great opportunity to explore vocabulary-party, balloons, jelly beans, icing, candles, hot, blow, etc.Sing Happy Birthday over and over, and once your child knows it, leave out some of the words (e.g. Happy Birthday to ________)Wait for them to fill in the blank, and if they aren't ready or interested, continue on!
