Vitreous mosaic tiles come FACE-mounted on paper for rapid installation. The paper can be removed by soaking in water. Each mosaic tile is 3/4" x 3/4" and over 1/8" thick. These dimensions are a standard size for glass mosaic tile, which means you should be able to use these with vitreous tiles from most other manufacturers. The backs of these mosaic tiles are embossed with ridges to help glue bond more securely. These tiles are used in pools, buildings, craft projects and fine art. A full pallet of colors is available, allowing the artist to create complex images. Vitreous tiles can be cut with a regular tile nipper, but we recommend our Mosaic Glass Cutter for cleaner cuts and less waste. Coverage: 218 loose tiles will cover 1 square foot with a grout spacing of about 1/16 inch between the tiles. Each sheet covers 0.13 sq ft. Nine sheets covers 1.15 sq ft.
