Click on the image for a larger view. These large old wedding beads came from Mali. They are also known as Don Don Sole beads. The strand measures 26" in length and there are approx 70 beads in total, each measuring approx 1" in length. Most beads are light bulb shaped. Lots of great colors - solid, transluscent, striped, marbled. Most beads are in very good condition, though expect some surface wear and signs of age and use.
