Before you order, you must prepare your bookbinding manuscript(s) using our instructions. Buckram is a highly durable, library-quality material that is coated with a layer of vinyl. This means it can be cleaned with a damp cloth.You've spent years tracing your family history. Collecting a multitude of names, facts, photos, and stories. Or perhaps you have a special manuscript such as your poetry or other writings. What often gets overlooked is how to share and preserve this information. While scrapbooking is one way to display your heritage, a hardcover book creates an image of significance and permanence of ones family history. Its something more than just a bunch of pages in a notebook.With todays genealogy and word processing software, its easy to create a written family history in book form. But please follow our manuscript preparation instructions before you place your bookbinding order.All materials used in the binding process are acid-free for long term preservation. Your family name (The so-and-so Family) or title will be imprinted in gold on the front cover, with a scroll bar underneath and a fleur de lis design on the spine. A ribbon marker will also be included. Important, please specify the family name or title you want imprinted on the cover in box above, for example, The Johnson Family (limit 25 characters/spaces).After we receive your order, we will send you an email with shipping instructions. Allow two to three weeks for binding once we receive your page sets, plus return shipping time, to receive your book(s). All books will be sent UPS ground, so do not select Priority Mail, Standard Ground, or Free Shipping options when checking out. If you accidentally do select any shipping option other than UPS Ground, we will cancel your order and email you to reorder.Remember, you must prepare your manuscript(s) using our instructions before placing your bookbinding order.Note: If you want to order a bookbinding by mail order, please email us for special instructions.
