This substantial artwork was originally sculpted circa 1886 by Pierre-Nicolas Tourgueneff. We created a mold off of Tourgueneff's original casting, so this piece offers exceptional detail. Please be sure to click on the "View More Images" link above to see additional views.
The sculpture is mounted onto a marble base, stands a full 39" high by 24" wide, weighs roughly 90 lbs. It is signed "PIERRE TOURGUENEFF" in the bronze. "The Archer" was crafted of the finest pure bronze by the talented artisans working in our own California art foundry, and boasts a deep, rich patina finish that is permanently fused under high heat into the metal. This is a classic artwork that will last to be treasured by future generations.
