Loop life is approximately 100 hours when operated in the Film/FX. More than adequate for shows using the effects for short periods of time during a production but not sufficently long enough for continuous display applications. GAM recommends the SX4 for continuous duty applications where these same loops will have an expected loop life of 2,000 to 4,000 hours and more.
